No 100 MB limit and no daily cap
Convertio's free plan stops at 100 MB per file and limits how much you can convert each day. Videos, long recordings and big scans pass 100 MB quickly.
Here, your own device does the conversion. We set no size limit for images, documents and PDFs. Video and audio files can be up to 512 MB each, five times Convertio's free limit, because larger media can crash a browser tab. Convert as many files as you like, as often as you like.
Your files are not uploaded
An online converter normally uploads your file, converts it on a server, and sends it back. That means waiting for the upload, and it means trusting the service with your file. You cannot see what happens on its servers, how long it keeps copies, or what those copies are used for.
Easy File Tools converts in your browser. Images, documents, audio and video are processed on your own device and never sent to us. Big files are often faster this way, because there is no upload and no download to wait for.
You do not have to take our word for it. Open a tool, then turn off Wi-Fi or unplug the network cable. The tool still works, because nothing needs to go anywhere. If you are technical, open your browser's developer tools and watch the network tab while a file is processed: the file is not sent.
Free, with no account
There is nothing to sign up for, and no watermark on your files. Because your own device does the work, we do not pay for servers that process other people's files. Serving the web page costs very little, so we can keep every tool free, with no paid plan and no trial.

- Images, documents and PDFs have no limit from us. Video and audio files can be up to 512 MB each. Large files take longer on phones and older computers.
