Local-first file processing

Most Easy File Tools file tools process your selected files directly in your browser. For those tools, the file contents are not uploaded to an Easy File Tools server.

Server-assisted operations

A small number of advanced operations require a network or server request. Examples include server-assisted PDF conversion or security features, certificate signing, and DNS lookups. Those pages identify the processing behavior before you complete the operation.

No personal data collected

We do not require an account for the public tools. We do not sell personal information or use file contents for advertising.

Saved preferences

Some tools save preferences, such as your theme. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Third-party services

The site and any server-assisted endpoints may be hosted through infrastructure providers that process basic request details such as IP address, timestamp, browser information, requested URL, and response status under their own policies. Ordinary page-request logs do not contain the contents of files processed locally in your browser.
