About Word to PDF

Word to PDF turns a DOCX file into fixed PDF pages, keeping its layout, fonts, and page breaks as closely as the format allows.

Runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

1.Start from the final Word document, with tracked changes and comments in the state you want.
2.Run the conversion, keeping the source's page size, margins, fonts, and section layout in mind.
3.Open the PDF and compare page count, line breaks, tables, headers, and links against the DOCX.

The document's own page and section setup drives the PDF layout.
Embedded images and the fonts available decide how close the result looks and how big the file gets.

A font that is not available, or an advanced Word feature, can change wrapping, pagination, fields, and where floating objects land.
A PDF freezes the layout, which is the point, but it is a poor format to keep editing in.

Why did the PDF gain a page?

A substituted font or a small layout difference pushed text over a page boundary. Compare fonts, margins, and manual breaks.

Do Word comments come across?

Only what the conversion actually renders. Accept or reject tracked changes and set the markup state you want before converting.
