About Easy File Tools

I started building Easy File Tools after I saw how awkward simple file tasks can be for small businesses and professionals. Something as basic as compressing a PDF can come with usage limits. And uploading invoices, reports, contracts or other sensitive documents to a third-party server is not always a good idea.

I kept finding the same problems myself. Many browser-based PDF tools are good for basic things like merging or compressing. But when you want to edit a PDF, or convert a PDF correctly to Word, Excel or PowerPoint, there are much fewer options, or you need paid software like Adobe.

So I started to support those tasks directly in the browser too. PDF editing, PDF to Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and other things that simple online PDF tools usually do not have.

Then there were fully unrelated things that I needed myself. I use a 3D printer, and sometimes I only wanted to look at a downloaded 3D model on my phone, or convert it, before I sent it for printing. So I added tools for that too.

In the last year I continued to add tools when I found something useful for day-to-day work. That slowly became Easy File Tools, with 86+ tools for PDFs, images, audio, video, QR codes, data, 3D files and developer tasks.

All the file processing happens locally in your browser, so your files do not go to any server. There is also no account, no installation and no paywall.
