Image Annotator marks up photos and screenshots with brush strokes, highlighter, arrows, shapes, text boxes, and blur regions. Everything stays editable until you export a flattened PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or AVIF.

How to use it

1.Open a PNG, JPEG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG, or HEIC image. HEIC photos are decoded here in the browser.
2.Draw with the brush, highlighter, shapes, arrows, text, and blur, then select any object to move, resize, restyle, reorder, or delete it.
3.Pick the export format, quality, and scale, and download the image with the annotations burned in.

Options

Every annotation stays its own object, with its own color, stroke width, opacity, and stacking order, until you export.
Blur regions can soften or pixelate, and the export settings cover format, compression, and output size.

Limitations

Once exported, annotations are pixels. No ordinary image viewer will let you move them again.
AVIF and WEBP encoding depends on the browser. When the codec is missing, the export falls back to PNG.

Common questions

Can I change an annotation after drawing it?

Yes. Switch to the select tool and click it, then move, resize, restyle, reorder, or delete. Undo and redo cover everything up to the export.

What can I open and save?

Open PNG, JPEG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG, and HEIC or HEIF. Save PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or AVIF at 50%, 100%, or 200% of the source size.
