Watermark video

How to use it

1. 1.Open the video and see whether the lower-right corner clashes with captions, player controls, or the action.
2. 2.Type the text and watch the white-on-dark box sit over a few different scenes.
3. 3.Encode it, then watch light, dark, still, and moving sections before it goes anywhere.

Options

• The text is yours, and it stays on screen for the whole clip.
• Everything else is fixed: the corner, 28-pixel white text, 75% opacity, and the translucent dark box.

Limitations

• A visible mark can be cropped off or painted over. On its own it proves nothing.
• Re-encoding takes time and can change the compression even when the dimensions stay the same.
