How to use it

Allow microphone access, pick the right input, and do a short test while watching the meter.

Record somewhere quiet, and hold the same distance from the mic while you talk.

Stop, play the whole thing back, check the start and end are there, and save it.

Options

The input list shows whatever the browser exposes once permission is granted: built-in, headset, or external.
The live waveform and meter catch silence and overload, but they are no substitute for listening back.

Limitations

Whether the browser can see your microphones at all depends on its permissions and the operating system.
Nothing recovers speech lost to room noise, clipping, a wireless dropout, or the wrong input device.

Common questions

Permission is granted but the recording is silent.

The browser is probably on a different input, or the system level is muted. Pick the intended microphone and run a short test.

Can I close the tab while it records?

No. Keep the page open and the device awake until you stop and save.
