About Perspective correction

Perspective Correction straightens a photographed page by pulling its left and right edges back into line, for documents shot at a slight angle.

How to use it

1.Pick a photo with visible page edges and enough margin that straightening will not eat into the content.
2.Nudge the top-edge correction a little at a time, comparing the top and bottom edges of the page.
3.Export, look at the text and borders at full size, and keep the original in case it needs a stronger fix.

Options

The slider sets how much narrower the top edge is treated than the bottom.
Width and height stay the same. Each row is rescaled so the corrected page fills the original frame.

Limitations

This handles a simple trapezoid. It is not a four-corner correction and will not save a severe angle, rotation, or a curled page.
Rows near the top are stretched out of a narrower slice, so a heavy setting softens detail and can push margins, seals, or border text out of frame.

Common questions

What distortion does this actually fix?

The common one, where the top edge of the page looks narrower than the bottom. Severe skew or four independently placed corners need the document scanner or an editor.

Does the image change size?

No. Each row is stretched back out to the full frame, so the export keeps the source width and height.
