Flatten PDF

How to use it

1. 1.Open the finished PDF and check that the form values, annotations, stamps, and signatures you want to keep are showing.
2. 2.Save an editable backup, then flatten.
3. 3.Reopen the flattened file in another viewer and go through every field, annotation, and page that will be printed.

Options

• Flattening hits supported form fields and annotations. The rest of the page is left alone.
• Keep the editable source and you can still fix a value later.

Limitations

• Flattening is meant to be hard to undo. The interactivity and the annotation metadata are gone.
• Digital signatures and unusual appearance streams need care, because changing the document can invalidate them.
