Can I change an existing sentence in the PDF?
The editor is designed for overlays and annotations. Cover-and-replace can work visually, but it is not the same as editing the original text object.
Are added annotations searchable?
New text may be represented in the export, but drawing marks and flattened visual objects are not equivalent to the original searchable text layer.
