How to use it

1.Open the PDF, go to the page, and zoom in far enough to place things precisely.
2.Add text, images, shapes, or annotations, then set their position, size, style, and stacking order.
3.Export and reopen the file to check alignment and legibility on every page you touched.

Options

Text and image objects sit on top of the page and can be moved or resized without rewriting the PDF's own text.
Annotation colors and drawing tools keep comments, emphasis, and corrections apart.

Limitations

Nothing reflows. An overlay does not replace the paragraph text already embedded in the page.
Fonts and transparency can look slightly different in an unusual viewer than they do on the canvas.

Common questions

Can I change a sentence that is already in the PDF?

Not directly. You can cover it and type over the top, which looks right, but it is not the same as editing the original text object.

Is the text I add searchable?

Text can carry through to the export, but drawn marks and flattened objects are pictures, not part of the text layer.
