How to use it

1. 1.Play the source and find a start with enough run-up, and an end that does not chop a word or a movement.
2. 2.Put the handles on the timeline and preview a few seconds either side of each one.
3. 3.Export, check the audio starts and ends cleanly, and confirm the duration in another player.

Options

• The handles mark what you keep, not what you throw away.
• The output codec and quality decide compatibility, and whether the segment gets re-encoded at all.

Limitations

• A stream copy has to start at a keyframe, so the cut can land slightly off your mark.
• Re-encoding hits the frame you asked for, but it takes longer and costs another lossy generation.
