About UPI QR generator

UPI QR Generator builds a payment QR code from a UPI ID, payee name, and an optional amount and note. The payer's own app still shows and authorizes the request.

Runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How to use it

1.Check the payee's UPI ID and name in a payment app you trust before you build anything.
2.Add an amount and a short note only if they should be prefilled for everyone who scans.
3.Generate it, scan it with more than one UPI app, and confirm the payee and amount before you put it anywhere.

Options

A fixed amount saves typing for a standard charge. Leave it blank and the payer enters their own.
The note is for context. Do not put anything private or receipt-like in it.

Limitations

The code asks for money. It is no evidence that anyone paid.
A wrong UPI ID sends money to the wrong person, which is why you test the finished code.

Common questions

Does the QR code confirm a payment?

No. It opens a payment request. Confirmation comes from the payee's bank or UPI transaction history.

Should I bake in an amount?

Yes for a fixed charge. No for donations or variable invoices, where the payer needs to type their own.
